Does root canal treatment hurt?
No. Under modern local anaesthesia the treatment is pain-free — many patients tell us it was far more relaxed than they had feared. Existing pain often disappears during the very first session.
How long does treatment take?
Depending on the tooth and its anatomy, 60–120 minutes per session. One to two sessions are usually enough. We deliberately take our time — in root canal work, precision matters more than speed.
What does root canal treatment at an endodontic practice cost?
This level of treatment goes beyond what statutory health insurance covers as standard. We discuss a detailed treatment and cost plan after the initial examination.
Will my statutory health insurance cover the cost?
Statutory health insurers cover basic care under certain conditions. We explain any difference in cost transparently and in advance.
Why see an endodontic practice?
Root canals are often extremely finely branched. Without a microscope they stay invisible. A dentist who works exclusively on such cases achieves markedly higher success rates.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
With acute pain or in an emergency we try to see you the same or the next day. For planned treatment the wait is usually one to three weeks.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can contact us directly — whether or not your own dentist refers you.
